Privacy and data protection
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how SinoLine Trading & Import handles information about website visitors, clients and supplier representatives when they use our website, portal or communication channels.
1. Controller and contact
SinoLine Trading & Import is responsible for the processing described here. For questions or privacy requests, contact info@sinoline.sa or +966 53 048 0177.
2. Information we collect
We may collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, city, business and billing details, import requirements, product details, quantities, documents, images and conversations. We may also record network address, device type, security and error logs, and cookie preferences. Do not send sensitive information or documents that are not needed for your request.
3. Sources
We receive information directly from you when you register, submit a request, upload a file or contact us; from an authorised representative of your business; and from technical records required to operate and secure the service.
4. Purposes and legal grounds
We use information to review requests, prepare quotations and contracts, manage sourcing, inspection and delivery, provide support, prevent fraud, protect accounts, keep records and comply with law. Depending on the context, we rely on contract performance, steps requested before a contract, legal obligations, legitimate security interests, or consent for optional analytics and marketing.
5. Sharing and Saudi–China access
Access is limited to staff and providers who need information for their work. Client identity and contact details are hidden from China-team accounts in the dedicated operational workflows. Relevant team members may access technical details or files that you expressly share for delivery of the service. Hosting, communications, payment, advisory, inspection and logistics providers must use suitable confidentiality and security safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
6. International transfers
Information may be processed in Saudi Arabia, China or another country used by a technology provider, depending on the service. We use access controls, contractual safeguards and appropriate technical measures, and transfer only what is needed for the purpose.
7. Cookies and analytics
Local storage is used to remember your choice. Google, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn or Microsoft Clarity analytics and advertising tools may run only after consent. You can reject or change your choice through the Privacy settings button. We ask again when the policy version changes or the stored choice expires.
8. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed to fulfil requests, manage the relationship, resolve disputes and meet accounting or legal requirements. We then securely delete or de-identify it. The period varies by record and legal obligation.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, a copy, deletion, restriction or objection. We may verify your identity and may keep records required by law. You may withdraw optional marketing consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
10. Security, children and changes
We use role-based access, encrypted transport, monitoring, security records and appropriate backups. Our business services are not directed to anyone under 18. We may update this policy when services or requirements change; the latest date appears above.
